Senior Delivery Manager

About the position

The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of complex product initiatives and cross-functional projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including technology teams, product teams, and vendors, throughout all phases of the project life cycle. The Senior Delivery Manager facilitates requirements gathering, Agile ceremonies, and ensures adherence to project management methodologies while driving best practices and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex product initiatives and cross-functional initiatives.
• Facilitate requirements gathering for technology solutions and guide resources to achieve goals.
• Facilitate Agile team ceremonies and guide resources effectively.
• Adhere to project management methodologies while influencing best practices and process improvements.
• Manage all dimensions of delivery including scope, schedule, and resources/budget.
• Serve as a primary problem solver for issues, roadblocks, and risks, demonstrating servant leadership.
• Create and deliver presentations and reports to management, communicating project status.
• Drive decision-making processes among stakeholders, ensuring project needs and solutions are understood.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Technology experience
• Familiarity with Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall methodologies
• Strong communication skills to influence various audiences
• Cross-functional teamwork skills
• Ability to recognize roadblocks and deliver solutions
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
• Leadership skills to partner with and challenge peer groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
