In this role, you will support and take a responsible position within the Client Engineering Team. You will develop familiarity with the client's manufacturing system standards and implement their Automation Standards across all projects related to their deliverables. Acting as the client representative, you will provide oversight to the System Integrators, reviewing and approving design and test documentation. You will also implement best practices from previous projects, create Automation User Requirement Specifications, and be responsible for software development and implementation. Additionally, you will support FAT/C&Q activities as applicable and execute system changes and optimizations under site change control, providing front-line automation support to production.

Responsibilities

  • Support and take a responsible role in the Client Engineering Team
  • Develop familiarity with the clients manufacturing system standards
  • Implement clients Automation Standards throughout all projects relating to their deliverables
  • Act as client representative providing oversight to the System Integrators, reviewing and approving design and test documentation
  • Implement best practices from previous projects relating to their deliverables
  • Create Automation User Requirement Specifications
  • Responsible for Software Development and implementation
  • Support FAT/C&Q activities as applicable
  • Ability to execute system changes and optimization under site change control
  • Provide front line automation support to production

Requirements

  • Process Automation project experience with the DeltaV and Rockwell Platforms
  • Drive for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of Process Automation implementation in a Pharma/Biotech environment
  • Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP
  • Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Over 7 years relevant DeltaV experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, SQL software and systems is not required but desirable
