About the position

The Demand Planner at Logitech plays a crucial role in managing demand forecasts for product categories, driving supply chain strategies, and collaborating with various business partners. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to change and improve both personally and professionally. The role involves analyzing demand trends, leading S&OP processes, and ensuring the success of product categories from a supply chain perspective, all while supporting a hybrid/remote work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Define supply chain strategy end to end for your product category
  • Build and develop engaging relationships with key stakeholders
  • Acquire, understand, and incorporate demand signals, channel data, and replenishment triggers in the development of the product level demand plan, up to 18 months
  • Prepare and present demand plans during monthly S&OP meetings with senior executives
  • Establish and maintain SKU-level demand plan for assigned product category using analytical and statistical tools
  • Monitor inventory levels and take corrective actions to avoid supply shortages and excess stocks
  • Govern WW allocation of your product category to protect revenue-cost-margin interests
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc performance summaries with root cause analysis and propose corrective actions
  • Manage all aspects related to weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand planning activities
  • Manage product life cycle transitions from New Product Introduction to End of Life
  • Drive development and implementation of processes and tools related to demand planning and forecasting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to refine existing processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Exceptional relevant experience and/or a Bachelor's Degree/Masters Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related subject area
  • Analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to use advanced analytics and optimization techniques
  • Experience in consumer electronics and FMCG or CPG companies is an advantage
  • Participation in S&OP processes
  • Ability to analyze trade-offs between inventory, air freight, capacity, etc.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability in uncertain situations
  • Global experience and knowledge of customer, market, and channel business
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive attitude.
