About the position

The Senior Demand Planner at LG Electronics USA is responsible for leading supply chain initiatives, ensuring project alignment and success through collaboration with various stakeholders. This role focuses on improving processes, tracking project performance, and maintaining high customer satisfaction while managing inventory levels and forecasting accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules while leading the execution of supply chain initiatives from inception to completion
  • Collaborate and manage internal and external stakeholders including third party logistic providers, customers, and cross functional teams to ensure project alignment and success
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the operation while driving for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Track project performance and execution against KPI's and defined metrics
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction by meeting key deliverables
  • Own and maintain project pipelines and report weekly/monthly/quarterly change in detail with insights
  • Manage builder project weekly planning cycle by gathering pipeline intel and reflecting updates into GDMI forecast system
  • Collaborate with PSI to sustain optimal inventory levels across distribution networks by allocating physical inventory to meet customer requested delivery dates
  • Allocate limited stock to orders complying with company policies after checking with sales from the perspective of its level of urgency and other factors
  • Drive improvements to forecast accuracy
  • Proactively monitor end of life & new product introduction and guide sales to help manage the product road maps to appropriately plan and manage project pipelines
  • Lead sales operational meetings with related stakeholders by providing guidance with analytics to drive and influence data driven decision making

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 5+ years of Supply Chain related experience in project management / forecasting / inventory management
  • Experience working in a last mile delivery network and managing third-party delivery services
  • A highly developed set of skills in quantification and analysis
  • Proficiency using Excel, Access, Powerpoint and MS Project
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to deliver complex information to a variety of audiences with impact
  • Creative mindset with the ability to look at a problem with a number of different perspectives and ideas for a solution
