About the position

The Senior Demand Planner at DISH plays a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain by accurately forecasting customer demand and aligning it with production and inventory strategies. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to gather inputs and reach consensus on demand forecasts.
• Apply advanced statistical models to generate demand forecasts, considering market trends and seasonality.
• Identify changes in demand due to pricing, promotional activities, and competitor pricing.
• Segment products based on demand variability and suggest appropriate forecasting methods.
• Synchronize inventory levels with projected demand, optimizing carrying costs and service levels.
• Coordinate with supply planning and procurement to harmonize demand and supply activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, demand forecasting techniques, and demand planning systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and production planning.
• Experience with demand planning software, ERP systems, and APICS CPIM or other relevant certifications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to company core values.
