About the position

Kenvue is currently seeking a Senior Demand Planner who will play a crucial role in developing SKU-level operational forecasts for renowned brands such as Neutrogena, Aveeno, and Clean & Clear within the Skin Health portfolio. This position is integral to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, utilizing SAP Demand Planning functionality to ensure accurate demand forecasting. The Senior Demand Planner will interact regularly with cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Customer Strategy, Sales Operations, CPFR, Finance, and Supply Planning. This collaboration will involve analyzing historical order and shipment data, current POS trends, trade inventory data, and promotional activity information to create the most effective demand plans for both new and existing products. In addition to forecasting, the Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for quantifying and communicating forecast gaps, leading cross-functional forecast reviews in accordance with IBP process standards, and maintaining responsibilities for MAPE and Forecast Accuracy metrics. This role will also focus on identifying areas for improvement in forecasting processes. As an integral member of the Neutrogena squad, the Senior Demand Planner will lead supply chain inventory and SLOB analytics, shape portfolio optimization, and actively participate in squad activities. This position is based in Skillman, NJ, with a travel requirement of up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop SKU-level operational forecasts for Neutrogena, Aveeno, and Clean & Clear Face Care products.
• Coordinate Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes using SAP Demand Planning functionality.
• Analyze historical order and shipment data, current POS trends, trade inventory data, and promotional activity information.
• Quantify and communicate forecast gaps and lead cross-functional forecast reviews.
• Maintain responsibilities for MAPE and Forecast Accuracy metrics and identify areas of improvement.
• Lead supply chain inventory/SLOB analytics and shape portfolio optimization as part of the Neutrogena squad.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 4 years business experience is required.
• 2 years of experience in supply chain management or supporting supply chain, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, customer service, and/or planning.
• Strong knowledge of Excel (i.e., vLookups, pivot tables) is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives and work independently while demonstrating initiative is required.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Intermediate knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Forecasting experience is preferred.
• Experience in the Consumer industry or other FDA regulated industry is preferred.
• APICS certification is preferred.
• Lean, Six-Sigma or Process Excellence training and/or certification is preferred.
