About the position

The Senior Demand Supply Planner at Intuitive is responsible for performing supply and demand planning activities for the Service Business Unit. This role involves collaborating with various departments to develop optimal demand and supply plans that align with the company's priorities. The planner will also focus on continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate planning applications (SPP, SAP, o9) statistical forecasts for demand planning and Material/Capacity constrained build plans.
  • Participate in analysis with Field Service Engineering and Finance to understand the impact of forecast changes and drivers of forecast change.
  • Maintain and communicate KPI's, project status updates, and material availability escalations.
  • Create material buffers (Safety Stock) in planning applications and load MPS into MRP to drive component demand while ensuring SOX compliance.
  • Review demand changes to assess the risk around the Demand Plan and the impact on the Supply Plan.
  • Create quarterly SIOP charts and data/charts for monthly forecast reviews.
  • Monitor metrics daily to identify potential supply risk and inventory exposures.
  • Think through different Demand and Supply scenario planning and understand the impact on inventory projections and E&O exposure.
  • Use planning applications to improve, initiate, and drive process and system improvements.
  • Manage and review SOX compliance package for MRP load in multiple plants.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels at the right location/region and report inventory health.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business partnerships with cross-functional departments.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and statistical techniques to solve complex Supply Chain issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a matrix environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of quality and compliance requirements within the medical device manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with Advanced Planning Systems and ERP systems, preferably SAP ERP/BI, Tableau, EDW, and Agile.
  • Proven skill set in Excel is a must.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in demand and supply chain.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a high volume ECO environment dealing with multiple plants in ERP.
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
