About the position

In the role of Senior Dental Network Recruiter at Guardian Life, you will be instrumental in expanding and implementing the established network strategy aimed at enhancing access and discounts within Guardian's dental networks and its subsidiaries. This position requires a proactive approach to recruiting and contracting dentists, ensuring the growth of Guardian's dental products through robust networks and service offerings. Your primary goal will be to increase the number of dentists in the networks, thereby improving gross adds, competitive rank, and the overall value that Guardian Dental can provide to both existing and prospective clients. As a Senior Dental Network Recruiter, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation. You will leverage your extensive experience in the dental industry to analyze recruitment opportunities and strategize effectively. Your role will involve managing PPO and DHMO recruitment efforts within your assigned territory, while also assisting in network retention initiatives. You will utilize market data to negotiate fee schedules, aiming to enhance Guardian's effective discount and increase utilization of services. Your responsibilities will also include engaging with dentists and decision-makers to communicate the value of network participation, influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring that applications for participation are processed efficiently. You will be expected to log activities in Salesforce and utilize Microsoft Office products and other internal systems to track progress and outcomes. This remote position is open to candidates residing in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama, with up to 20% travel required to meet with stakeholders and attend relevant events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage PPO and DHMO recruitment efforts within your assigned territory.
  • Assist in network retention initiatives.
  • Utilize market data to negotiate fee schedules and improve Guardian's effective discount.
  • Engage with dentists and decision-makers to communicate the value of network participation.
  • Influence key stakeholders and overcome objections to network participation.
  • Ensure applications for participation are complete and processed in a timely manner.
  • Log activities in Salesforce and utilize Microsoft Office products and other internal systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with other recruiters, provider relations representatives, and internal partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in provider relations, dental recruitment, or other dental industry experience.
  • Ability to analyze and strategize recruitment opportunities.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to accelerate impact and lead change.
  • Strong time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with dental industry trends and market data analysis.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
