About the position

As a Senior Project Architect based in Austin, Texas, you'll function as a Team Leader for assigned design projects, serving as the primary point of contact with clients. You will develop and maintain internal and external client networks and serve as a primary contributor during client meetings and presentations. Your role will involve guiding others forward, participating in directing growth and strategic planning as part of the Company's management team. This opportunity will entail securing, assigning, and maintaining a project team containing all the resources required to successfully deliver projects while maintaining quality. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will implement and maintain effective communication to the project team and all stakeholders to ensure full project delivery. Controlling scope and cost to the project baseline will be crucial, as will ensuring that the obligations between the Client and the Company are fulfilled. You will also develop and monitor financial and project delivery schedules, including change management. Responsibilities

  • Function as a Team Leader for assigned design projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external client networks.
  • Participate in directing growth and strategic planning as part of the management team.
  • Secure, assign, and maintain a project team with all necessary resources.
  • Identify and assess risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and maintain effective communication to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Control scope and cost to the project baseline.
  • Ensure obligations between Client and the Company are fulfilled.
  • Develop and monitor financial and project delivery schedules, including change management.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
  • At least 7 years of management experience involving direct client contact and full responsibility for projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
  • Registered Architect (RA).
  • NCARB Certificate holder.
  • Proven ability to strategize and direct business growth and direction.
  • Forward thinking with the ability to articulate a clear vision and knowledge of trends in the infrastructure space.
  • Good social, networking, organization, people, and presentation skills.
