About the position

At Rapt, we are seeking a Senior Designer who will play a pivotal role in our design and strategy studio. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects from conception to realization. The Senior Designer will lead our design team and collaborate closely with Studio Leads and Design Directors to ensure the success of each project. The ideal candidate will possess the confidence and creativity necessary to be at the forefront of our work, navigating the complexities of design challenges while delivering innovative solutions that align with our clients' missions. The Senior Designer will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards. This includes working with project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project, from initial concept design through to construction. The role demands expertise in project management, construction administration, budget review, and client relations, as well as proficiency in working with jurisdictional agencies and multi-disciplinary consultants. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial projects, including ground-up construction and core and shell repositioning, and will be adept at balancing creative vision with practical execution.
