About the position

The Senior Designer at Rapt is responsible for overseeing multiple design projects from conception to realization, ensuring high-quality outcomes while leading a team of designers. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and project management skills to navigate the complexities of architecture and design in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple design projects from conception to realization.
• Lead and mentor design staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Work closely with Studio Leads and Design Directors to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with project teams throughout the design and construction phases.
• Oversee project management tasks including budget review and construction administration.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Maintain strong client relations and coordinate with multi-disciplinary consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 8+ years of experience in an architecture or design studio.
• Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with project management and construction administration.
• Proficiency in working with jurisdictional agencies and multi-disciplinary consultants.
• Experience with commercial projects, including ground-up construction and core and shell repositioning.
