About the position

The Senior Designer for Speed Apparel Product Design at NIKE, Inc. is responsible for creating innovative Men's and Women's apparel designs that meet the brand's vision of excellence. This role requires a blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills to produce high-quality designs on tight timelines. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of apparel design, utilizing both digital and physical tools to bring concepts to life while ensuring alignment with Nike's market leadership goals.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative Men's and Women's apparel designs on fast timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Nike's vision of Apparel Excellence.
• Conceptualize and ideate designs through the lens of the Nike consumer.
• Finalize tech packs and collaborate with Merchants, DPC, and Tech Dev.
• Work with manufacturing partners to ensure continuity of design vision.
• Push creative edges by reimagining existing fabrics and exploring new materials.
• Participate in the communication and presentation of design concepts to various audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in design, textile, fashion, industrial, furniture, interior, architecture, or related field.
• At least 4+ years of relevant design experience in Apparel Design.
• Strong passion for design, fabrication, draping, and garment construction.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into product narratives and executions.
• Expertise in using Clo3D for concept creation and pattern making.
• Fluency in pattern making and garment construction for creating physical mockups.
• Experience in building inspiration/concept presentations and mood boards.
• Proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
