About the position

The Senior Designer for Speed Apparel Product Design at Nike is responsible for creating innovative Men's and Women's apparel with a focus on craftsmanship, creativity, and problem-solving. This role emphasizes the importance of detail and aims to elevate apparel design through a blend of digital tools and hands-on construction skills. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive Nike's vision of Apparel Excellence, ensuring that designs not only meet consumer needs but also push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative Men's and Women's apparel designs on fast timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence.
• Conceptualize and ideate designs using digital and physical tools.
• Finalize tech packs and collaborate with Merchants, DPC, and Tech Dev.
• Work with manufacturing partners to ensure design fidelity.
• Push creative boundaries and reimagine existing fabrics for new collections.
• Build inspiration/concept presentations and mood boards.
• Participate in the communication and presentation of design concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in design or related field.
• At least 4+ years of relevant design experience in Apparel Design.
• Strong passion for design, fabrication, draping, and construction.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into product narratives.
• Expertise in using Clo3D for concept creation and material exploration.
• Fluency in pattern making and garment construction.
• Experience in building presentations and mood boards.
• Proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Positive attitude and energy under pressure.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
