About the position

The Senior Designer at 500°ree; Studios is a key member of the creative team responsible for developing and designing merchandising, marketing, and promotional communications for leading clients. This role requires a blend of independent creativity and collaboration with other team members to produce high-quality design work that meets client objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative ideas, concepts, campaigns, and insights that will drive consumer engagement.
• Create visually appealing and innovative design concepts across various platforms, including print advertisements, digital ads, social media graphics, websites, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
• Work from client creative briefs to generate new design strategies or refresh existing ones, while also independently problem-solving when necessary.
• Ensure brand consistency across all design deliverables, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining agency quality standards.
• Utilize best practice design techniques to transform conceptual ideas into polished designs, including typography, color, shape, layout, animation/motion design, and illustration.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight and changing timelines.
• Collaborate and communicate design concepts with the internal creative team to foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
• Work with cross-functional teams such as account service, production, and project management to ensure high-quality execution of creative deliverables.
• Act as a strong partner and influencer in the creative process.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of professional design experience.
• Portfolio showcasing projects across print and digital media, with motion graphics experience being a plus.
• Knowledge of the production process, including proofing.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Experience creating presentations, with Keynote being a must-have or must-learn.
• Mastery of typography, illustration, color, shape, and design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design thinking and creative choices clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Prior marketing/creative agency experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in QSR/food photography and video content creation is a huge plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with video content creation and motion graphics.
