About the position

The Senior DevOps Engineer position at a growing start-up in the consulting space focuses on implementing AI solutions for businesses. This full-time role involves working in a hybrid model, with two days a week in the Atlanta office. The engineer will be responsible for on-prem migration to AWS, adopting containerization, and automating processes using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform, along with CI/CD pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-prem migration into the AWS cloud.
• Adopt containerization into the environment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Incorporate Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Engage in coding and automation work.
• Manage CI/CD pipeline processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• AWS background experience.
• Proficient understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages.

Nice-to-haves

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Previous work experience in a start-up environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior leadership experience.
