As a Senior DevOps Engineer for the Autonomous Database team at Oracle, you will be at the forefront of building and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud. This role is pivotal in supporting Oracle's Government customers and involves working with cutting-edge technologies in a multi-tenant environment. The Autonomous Database Team is responsible for creating the cloud service framework that powers various Oracle Autonomous Database services, including Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP). This framework automates the deployment, scaling, and management of databases in the cloud, ensuring high reliability and performance for critical applications and workloads. In this position, you will act as a point of escalation for incidents and issues related to cloud database services. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining these services, deploying code, and implementing changes within the region. You will take ownership of the implementation and production operations of core system platform solutions, continuously improving production systems through automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring. Your role will also involve thorough documentation of incidents and driving the resolution of complex technical issues across various services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly with Oracle Database technology, and will be adept at troubleshooting complex software and networking issues. You will work closely with multiple multi-functional teams to deliver outstanding experiences to collaborators while ensuring the reliability and performance of the services you manage.
