About the position
The Senior DevOps Engineer at Prospect is a remote, part-time contractor role focused on building and maintaining scalable and resilient infrastructure for a lead generation application. The position requires expertise in AWS and Terraform, with a strong emphasis on continuous delivery and proactive improvements to enhance system reliability and user experience. The engineer will work closely with a small team to implement best practices and optimize cloud services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Manage cloud services and infrastructure for the lead generation application.
- Enhance monitoring for better insights, alerts, and dashboards.
- Optimize infrastructure for speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Continuously modernize best practices to enhance infrastructure components.
Requirements
- Skilled in AWS setup and troubleshooting, adhering to the Well-Architected Framework for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Strong communication skills in a remote setting.
- 5+ years of experience in AWS, infrastructure, and system administration.
- Proficient in Terraform for consistent and scalable infrastructure management.
- Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
