About the position
The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in building and enhancing the IT department of a growing software company in Smyrna, GA. This position involves working in a hybrid environment, collaborating on CI/CD pipelines, multi-cloud deployments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, particularly in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance the IT environment to align with industry standards and practices.
- Work closely with CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Manage multi-cloud environments and implement effective deployment projects for software.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, such as HIPAA.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the DevOps field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with containerization in Kubernetes.
- Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Ability to commute to the Atlanta office 2-3 times weekly.
- Past work experience in the healthcare industry.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working in both team settings and independently.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
