About the position

The Senior DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer at Take2 Consulting is responsible for implementing and managing DevOps practices and tools to enhance the efficiency of software development and deployment processes. This role requires extensive experience in automation, cloud environments, and version control systems, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications while maintaining security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage DevOps practices and tools to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Automate system configurations and orchestrate network operations and DevOps pipelines.
• Scale applications and manage day-to-day system operations in cloud environments.
• Manage Git-based version control systems, including GitLab and GitHub.
• Architect and deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience in automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations.
• Familiarity with managing Git-based version control systems.
• Experience in architecting and deploying applications on cloud platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration.
• DoD8570 IAT II Compliance certifications like Sec+, CASP, etc.
