The Specialist would bring hands-on technological expertise, passion, and innovation to the table. You will be responsible for designing and enabling Application support, and handling Production farm and various Infrastructure platforms for different delivery teams. In the capacity of a subject matter expert, you will be responsible as a system architect to design and build scalable and efficient Infrastructure Platforms. At the same time, you will also be responsible for establishing best practices, cultivating thought leadership, and developing common practices/solutions on Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and enable Application support for various delivery teams.
• Handle Production farm and various Infrastructure platforms.
• Design and build scalable and efficient Infrastructure Platforms as a system architect.
• Establish best practices and cultivate thought leadership in DevOps practices.
• Develop common practices and solutions on Infrastructure.
• Manage installation, configuration, automation, performance, monitoring, capacity planning, and availability management of various servers and databases.
• Write complex code for automation of recurring tasks and OS administration.
• Demonstrate high availability and disaster recovery design on Cloud platforms as per SLAs/RTO/RPO.
• Perform root cause analysis and handle Content Delivery Network.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in DevOps with a Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology or a Master's in Engineering/Computer Applications.
• Expertise in DevOps & Cloud tools including AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git, Gitlab, and Github.
• Experience with container infrastructure tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, ARM, and Cloud Formation.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, Make, and Gradle.
• Experience with artifact repositories like Nexus and JFrog Artifactory.
• Hands-on experience with CI tools on-premise/cloud like Jenkins and TeamCity.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security tools such as CloudWatch, ELK, EFK, Splunk, Prometheus, and OWASP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ant, Bash, and Shell.
• Experience with virtualization platforms like Denodo and Dremio, as well as MDM platforms.
• Hands-on experience in designing pipelines and pipeline as code.
• Good exposure to tools and technologies used in building a container-based infrastructure.
• Experience with GCP/AWS/AZURE for creating network subnets, launching instances, and creating load balancers in a Production Environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Capability of estimating the setup time required for Infrastructure and build & release activities.
• Good working knowledge of Linux Operating System.
• Skill development, knowledge base creation, and toolset optimization of the Practice.
• Understanding of any one of DBMS like MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL like Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Capacity planning and infrastructure estimations.
• Working understanding of scripting in any one of the languages: BASH, Python, Perl, Ruby.
