About the position

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the deployment and management of Software ALM and DevSecOps tools, with a specific focus on Export controlled toolchains. This role involves upgrading and supporting tools like IBM ClearCase/ClearQuest and Atlassian products, ensuring efficient usage and user satisfaction. You will act as a liaison between the tools team and users, addressing their needs and maintaining compliance with US export control regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Export Control ITAR Tools operations & support, following best practices and maintaining a robust Service Desk setup.
  • Coordinate application deployments, upgrades, and changes with relevant teams and stakeholders, defining communication plans for users.
  • Implement operational monitoring for all ITAR tools with publicly visible dashboards and application availability status.
  • Maintain Honeywell Global Security standards including patching and hardening of tools.
  • Contribute to incident management investigations and root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for tools development and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure a five-star user experience by addressing improvement requests and suggestions.
  • Understand and adhere to established US export control regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience in Software Configuration Management (SCM) of development data.
  • Experience managing ClearCase and ClearQuest with Base/Unified Change Management (UCM).
  • Experience handling GIT or Bitbucket projects and servers.
  • Experience working with Atlassian suite of products like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
  • Ability to learn new tools and technology as per strategic priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a self-directed, virtual environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assume various application support roles.
  • Knowledge of IBM Doors and Doors-NG.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or information technology.
  • Deep understanding of key business systems and translating process and technology into business value.
  • Strong business acumen and customer focus with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to make timely decisions in complex situations.
  • Skill in identifying interrelationships and patterns among various problems.
