About the position

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for managing customer service requests across internal workgroups, overseeing environment processes, and coordinating upgrades for large-scale projects. This role involves taking ownership of customer issues, leading environmental build efforts, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs). The position also includes mentoring team members and implementing process improvements within the EMS workgroup.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and handle customer service requests for all internal workgroups.
  • Manage and monitor environment processes for workgroups.
  • Coordinate the upgrade of environments for large-scale efforts.
  • Serve as group contact for major projects and initiatives.
  • Take ownership of customer issues affecting EMS workgroup processes.
  • Manage and enforce processes to support ongoing process improvement.
  • Lead environmental build efforts for large-scale enterprise project/release efforts.
  • Perform code migrations and prepare, merge, and version code for production builds.
  • Work with peers to develop SLAs and OLAs based on work assignments.
  • Monitor SLAs and OLAs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Introduce other areas to EMS services and roll out EMS process/procedure changes to the enterprise as needed.
  • Analyze scope of work requests and develop work plans.
  • Lead ad-hoc assignments and internal initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to all team members.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working as a DevSecOps Engineer.
  • Experience working with healthcare data or for CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).
  • Familiarity with Rational Unified Process and Rational Tool suite.
