Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting a project for our government customer at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position requires the ability to obtain a T5/Secret clearance to support KDS and our government customer. The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting DevSecOps initiatives by developing and implementing test-driven security within a CI/CD pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and tracking Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to address identified security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps. Additionally, the engineer will document clear and repeatable processes and train others to perform automated assessment reviews. The role involves developing and implementing security assessment automation tools to support DevSecOps practices and collaborating with development teams to integrate security assurance into the CI/CD pipeline. The engineer will conduct security assessments and risk analyses on new and existing software, providing Subject Matter Expertise in the creation of security policies and standards. Furthermore, the engineer will develop and document procedures specific to the role, work closely with compliance teams to ensure continuous monitoring and authorization, and assist in developing security training and awareness for technical staff. Staying current with the evolving security landscape, industry trends, tools, and best practices is also a key responsibility of this position.
