About the position

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will lead the C2BMC DevSecOps team at Auria, focusing on developing and deploying infrastructure and platform capabilities for a critical customer program. This role involves managing multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation within a DevSecOps framework, primarily at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the C2BMC DevSecOps team in developing and deploying infrastructure as a service and platform as a service capabilities.
  • Manage multiple environments and software deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and automate processes in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain large engineering COTS applications in secure environments.
  • Implement new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments.
  • Conduct IS auditing and investigations.
  • Develop, review, and maintain RMF artifacts.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application.
  • 14 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field; 12 years with a Master’s degree; or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation for COTS or custom-built applications.
  • Familiarity with at least one commercial cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google).
  • Knowledge of operating system security requirements and industry-standard Information Assurance tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ICD 503/JSIG and DAAPAM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Linux Fundamentals and basic scripting.
  • Basic understanding of type 1 encryption and IPSEC tunnel.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, .NET, JavaScript.
