About the position

Parsons is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead a diverse team in developing innovative solutions for complex problems. This role involves applying advanced principles and theories to contribute to new product opportunities while providing expert advice and guidance within the organization. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications, participating in business capture efforts, and ensuring the success of technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Participates in efforts to capture new business through technical work and capability briefings.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• IAT Level II certification
• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• Ten years' experience designing and implementing information management systems
• Three years within the past five years of experience in technical research and development that enables continuing innovation within the infrastructure
• Three years within the past five years of demonstrated experience in product development, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working on web-based and data-intensive systems
• Three years within the past five years of experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and/or continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks
• Three years within the past five years of experience with commercial cloud service providers (AWS or Microsoft Azure), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design.
