About the position

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer position at Omni Federal involves supporting Offensive Cyber Operations and Information Warfare capabilities by deploying a DevSecOps platform across multiple cloud environments. This role is crucial for modern application development and requires a strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC), container technologies, and CI/CD pipelines. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence once a week at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX, and necessitates an active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Offensive Cyber Operations and Information Warfare capabilities.
• Deploy a DevSecOps platform in multiple cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Manage and utilize container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Work within an Agile environment to deliver solutions.

Requirements

• Senior knowledge in development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and associated infrastructure tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Working knowledge of deploying applications to hybrid cloud environments.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins).
• Experience with Istio service mesh.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical degree.
