About the position
The Senior DevSecOps/Infrastructure Security Engineer will be a key member of the Infrastructure Security team at a leading cloud provider specializing in high-performance computing. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on enhancing Kubernetes security solutions at scale, ensuring robust security practices are integrated into the development and operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Implement hands-on technical solutions for Kubernetes security.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to enhance security measures.
- Develop security tooling and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, particularly in security-focused deployments.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux and containerized application development.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python for software development.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of remote access tools such as Teleport and SSO protocols (OIDC, SAML).
- Familiarity with PKI/mTLS and contributing to security frameworks and procedural documentation.
