Group 1001 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to join our team. This position is remote and will focus on expanding and maintaining our platform of DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, and Identity Platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Security organization, providing guidance to cross-functional teams and clients on the adoption of security requirements while ensuring successful project delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure Security and DevSecOps tooling platforms. You will engineer with Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to high standards, ensuring thorough documentation and automated testing. Collaboration with application developers is key, as you will need to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Additionally, you will develop and maintain documentation and architectural designs for our DevSecOps platforms, utilizing DevOps principles to automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes. Implementing security controls and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance will be a critical part of your responsibilities. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in security technologies to provide recommendations for improvement. This position requires a proactive approach to security and a commitment to maintaining a high-performance team culture that values diversity and collaboration.
