About the position

Kforce's client, a leading investment firm located in Boston, MA, is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer for a critical role within their organization. This is a direct hire/perm position focused on the development of specialty investment management cloud applications. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working with cutting-edge technologies in a global environment. The tech stack for this role includes AWS, RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EKS/Fargate configuration, Docker, Python, JavaScript, and Terraform. The Senior Developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end application development, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet the needs of the business and its stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud applications for specialty investment management.
• Utilize AWS services including RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and EKS/Fargate for application development.
• Implement front-end and back-end solutions using Docker, Python, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate project status effectively.
• Design and implement high-quality web-based user interfaces.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
• Extensive experience in full stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.
• Solid command of software design and architectural patterns.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and understand detailed business requirements.
• Experience designing and implementing high-quality web-based user interfaces is a plus.
• Experience with AWS Native services including RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS.
• Experience with AWS EKS/Fargate configuration.
• Proficiency in Docker, Python, and JavaScript; Terraform.
• Experience with React/Redux or similar front-end web development.
