About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to contribute their coding expertise in training generative AI models. This freelance opportunity allows for remote work with flexible hours, enabling coders to assist in enhancing AI capabilities by crafting questions and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and answering questions related to computer science to help train AI models.
• Evaluating and ranking code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution.
• Proficiency working with one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI or machine learning concepts (not required but preferred).
