About the position

The Senior Data Insights Developer at Apple is responsible for designing and developing scalable, data-driven web applications and dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights. This role requires strong architecture skills and expertise in web development and data visualization, ensuring high-quality solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive channel sales. The position involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams and leadership in technical decisions related to web architecture and data management.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop dashboards using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Design and build scalable, user-friendly web applications for data visualization.
• Architect and implement efficient data pipelines and integrate various data sources (APIs, databases, cloud platforms).
• Create dynamic, custom visualizations using tools like D3.js, Chart.js, or Plotly.
• Provide technical leadership in web architecture and data management strategies.
• Collaborate with business, tech, and data teams to design solutions that provide clear, actionable insights.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and data security.

Requirements

• 8+ years of web development experience, focusing on data-driven solutions and architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Python) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience in designing scalable, maintainable data architectures and web applications.
• Expertise in data visualization tools like D3.js, Plotly, or Chart.js.

Nice-to-haves

• Proven experience leading large programs and mentoring developers.
• Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
