About the position

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Consultant to lead the deployment of digital products for Rental & Used, focusing on enhancing dealer adoption and customer engagement. This role involves collaborating with dealers to drive the use of digital tools, providing insights for improvement, and supporting marketing initiatives. The consultant will work closely with various teams to ensure effective integration and deployment of digital capabilities, ultimately contributing to a better customer experience and business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner and collaborate with dealers to drive deployment of the Rental & Used suite of digital tools and platforms.
• Deliver customer and business value through increased registered users, user engagement, online leads, and attributable sales.
• Interact with digital team members, data owners, and analytics teams to understand capabilities and deployment status.
• Provide recommendations and action plans to improve dealers' digital capabilities and processes.
• Support the development of Marketing and Digital categories of the Rental Excellence Program (REP).
• Provide tracking and reporting at an individual dealer level for actionable insights.
• Create and operationalize marketing and training resources for dealers.
• Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) to support the digital roadmap for rental.
• Identify opportunities for lead process improvement with dealers.
• Stay informed about the competitive digital landscape and leverage insights for future enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience in digital marketing, technical marketing, product marketing, or consulting.
• Experience working with rental, digital, and marketing dealer leadership teams.
• Product support or digital product development experience with strong ability to demonstrate digital capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the rental and/or used equipment industry.
• Analytics and KPI acumen to understand data and derive insights.
• Proven ability to influence without authority.
• Foundational working knowledge of Caterpillar's current digital capabilities.
