About the position

The Senior Digital Marketing eCommerce Content Specialist is responsible for coordinating, updating, and managing digital content to enhance site traffic and conversion rates for an eCommerce platform focused on food retailing refrigeration parts and services. This role emphasizes attention to detail and data-driven decision-making to create a user-friendly online shopping experience, ultimately aiming to increase site traffic and improve conversion rates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a superior brand and online shopping experience by combining expertise in sales, marketing, and technology.
  • Partner with outside agency vendors during the migration of the eCommerce site.
  • Monitor and update user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
  • Evaluate and manage site performance in alignment with brand standards and strategies.
  • Utilize knowledge of e-Commerce technologies, including PXM, PIM, DAM, and MDM software, along with analytics.
  • Communicate e-Commerce business performance through dashboards and various metrics, including share of search and product page performance.
  • Implement SEO strategies through site audits and keyword research to enhance site speed and functionality.
  • Manage conversion tracking through organic and PPC efforts in digital campaigns.
  • Develop the customer journey from lead to customer, utilizing automation where possible.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, agency partners, and others to execute digital projects and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce.
  • Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud site management.
  • Proficiency in technical SEO and tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and SEMrush.
  • Ability to understand and edit page structure, indexing, canonicalization, structured data, and backlink management.
  • Experience managing PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with ADA and WCAG standards for compliance.
  • Ability to create content using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools and optimize for social media and web.
  • Experience with social media channels, marketing emails, and digital advertising, tracking their performance with media mix modeling.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DAM systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial refrigeration and/or B2B eCommerce.
  • Copywriting skills.
  • Knowledge of AI implementation in site widgets.
  • Light HTML skills for adding tags.
  • Experience with multi-language sites.
  • A/B Testing experience.
