About the position

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager for the Equine business unit is responsible for leading digital marketing efforts to enhance brand equity and drive sales. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing various digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. The position requires strategic oversight of digital content and analytics to optimize marketing performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, measure and optimize effective digital marketing and content strategies that deliver on brand business objectives and specific campaigns across various channels.
  • Set up and own certain campaigns, managing agencies for others.
  • Act as strategic lead to ensure consistency across all marketing assets and touchpoints.
  • Partner with Corporate Digital Marketing to set KPIs and optimize paid campaigns.
  • Manage timelines for content creation and digital projects, keeping brand teams informed.
  • Lead eCommerce enhanced content creation for platforms like Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart.
  • Own Google search and manage Google Analytics to understand online digital experience.
  • Manage website CMS activities including page creation, layout, and user experience updates.
  • Leverage Hubspot data for audience segmentation in email marketing.
  • Create landing pages for promotional activities linked to QR codes.
  • Use data analytics to measure and report on marketing activities, optimizing spend and creative for maximum return.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in digital marketing operations.
  • Manage a direct reporting relationship with the eComm Marketing Manager.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience, media planning, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of best practices in SEM, SEO, email marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and digital advertising principles.
  • Understanding of Google products including GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and Looker Studio.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with creative minds and business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working with complex cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional project management and people skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on execution amid ambiguity.
  • Deep understanding of marketing, media, and the digital advertising landscape.
  • Ability to break down marketing strategies into tactical tasks.
  • Understanding of conversion tracking for Google Ads and social platforms.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush or Moz.
  • Ability to conduct critical analysis and identify key insights.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about learning and growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate project plans and deadlines.
