About the position

The Digital Marketing Consultant at Medtronic will lead the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving conversions. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, with a focus on B2B channels, and the ability to analyze data to inform marketing decisions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across teams to optimize customer journeys and ensure compliance with internal standards and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize deep understanding of digital advertising to define, plan, and build journeys to drive lead conversions for hospital administrators, c-suite, and patient audiences.
  • Own channel reporting and present data in actionable ways to clearly communicate results and challenges, proactively addressing attribution and performance management.
  • Analyze metrics and suggest solutions to increase conversion and awareness based on KPIs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customers' attitudes and behaviors across platforms, channels, and activities to provide segmentation and personalization to integrated marketing communications plans.
  • Develop and build detailed content journeys and trigger points for campaigns that align with the overall customer journey map, delivering the right content at each stage.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, legal guidelines, and inbox deliverability health.
  • Influence across functions and businesses while balancing divergent objectives to gain cooperation of other parties.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a Master's degree.
  • Fluency in today's digital marketing ecosystem and conversion strategies.
  • Ability to lead and implement digital strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, marketing strategies, email marketing, or marketing automation experience, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Extensive digital marketing and communications experience; ideally at both an agency and client setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, technology, and/or related field of study.
  • Experience with managing and editing photos and resources (e.g. Adobe, etc).
  • Understanding of analytics (e.g. Adobe, Google, etc).
