About the position

The Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist - Paid Search at Bio-Techne plays a crucial role in driving paid search performance and revenue growth for a diverse portfolio of over 500,000 products. This position requires extensive experience in managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across platforms like Google and Bing, with a strong focus on analytics and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess excellent communication skills, and stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends to refine strategies and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute paid digital marketing strategy across search, display, video, etc.
  • Measure and report performance of all paid digital campaigns against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Collaborate with business unit and digital team on new and creative paid strategies to support growth
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize ads to target appropriate terms
  • Produce content recommendations for new and existing ads and landing pages
  • Provide creative direction for video and display assets
  • Build new campaigns, evaluate performance, and find optimization opportunities in paid search platforms
  • Assist in training and serve as a lead SEM resource for Digital Marketing Specialists
  • Work with channel manager and cross-functionally to prioritize paid digital efforts
  • Present paid search performance, strategic optimization, and growth opportunities to key stakeholders
  • Identify and create plans for implementing process improvements
  • Demonstrate EPIC values in daily work
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. degree and 3-4 years of professional experience or equivalent education and training
  • Google Ads certifications required for search and display network
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4, certification required
  • Direct experience managing and optimizing multiple paid accounts with extensive ad groups, ads, and keywords
  • Ability to create/review/edit ad copy based on performance insights
  • Experience in A/B testing and Ads Experiments
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring results and presenting optimization opportunities
  • Ability to work in an agile, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot moderate complexity issues
  • Passionate about staying updated on paid digital trends and testing new ideas
