About the position

As a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at Aon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital marketing within our organization. This position is part of the Digital Channel Performance and Strategy Team, where you will be instrumental in enhancing our digital marketing operations and driving impactful results. You will work in a hybrid environment, allowing you to collaborate with colleagues from various office locations, including New York, Atlanta, Boston, or Chicago. Your primary responsibility will be to provide governance and best practices for our key organic social and digital advertising channels, ensuring that Aon stands out in the digital landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our digital marketing channels, including monitoring and addressing on-channel issues, and administering policies to ensure compliance with best practices. You will track and prioritize incoming requests, manage access across platforms such as LinkedIn Business Manager and Facebook Business Manager, and propose processes to streamline operations. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the development of a robust social media strategy and a comprehensive digital marketing measurement program. You will also facilitate training sessions for internal teams, develop repositories of digital marketing best practices, and collaborate with vendors to assess emerging trends. Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day governance of key organic social and digital advertising channels and platforms.
  • Monitor and handle on-channel issues and administer policies and best practices.
  • Track and prioritize incoming requests and manage access administration across channels and platforms.
  • Propose and implement processes and best practices to streamline operations and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Serve as a technical guidepost for Hootsuite and social channels, especially LinkedIn.
  • Support the development and rollout of enhanced social media strategy and digital marketing measurement program.
  • Manage the colleague amplification program, ensuring a continuous flow of engaging content.
  • Collect and document learnings and recommendations across key campaigns and programs.
  • Run and facilitate training sessions for internal teams on digital channels and platform strategies.
  • Develop and maintain repositories of digital marketing best practices and resources.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in organic social and paid marketing channels and tactics.
  • Functional knowledge of key digital marketing tools and platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, YouTube, Google Ads, and Hootsuite.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Eloqua, Asana, and Monday.com is a plus.
  • Certifications in Hubspot, LinkedIn, or Hootsuite, or similar digital marketing certifications are a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital advertising certifications.
  • Familiarity with emerging digital marketing trends and best practices.
