About the position

The Senior Digital Product Designer UX will focus on enhancing user experiences for digital products by analyzing user interactions and applying human-centered design principles. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create intuitive and accessible designs that meet the needs of patients and physicians, ensuring a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze research findings to deliver Use Cases, User Journeys, User Flow Diagrams, Navigation Structures, and Information Architecture.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape products that advocate for user needs and business requirements.
• Design for various platforms including browsers, responsive web, native apps, and health monitoring devices.
• Create Storyboards, Wireframes, Interface Modules, Prototypes, and Design Specifications.
• Evaluate designs based on project-specific and enterprise standard metrics.
• Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.0 AA Accessibility Standards.
• Collaborate with the Experience Design team to implement and refine the Digital Design Language.
• Facilitate Design Workshops and synthesize ideas into cohesive Design Proposals.
• Oversee vendors assisting with Experience Design scope of work.

Requirements

• Understanding of the Human Centered Design (HCD) process.
• Working knowledge of current User Experience methods.
• Excellent visual communication skills and ability to clarify complex problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including confident presentation skills.
• Ability to design for users with serious medical conditions.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of design industry trends and innovation in processes.
• Mentorship experience for junior Experience Designers.
• Understanding of security and sensitivity around patient medical data.
• Experience with Accessibility concerns for Digital products.
• End-to-end knowledge of User Experience Design stages.
• Perspective on infusing accessibility in product development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with design tools and platforms (Adobe CS, Sketch, Figma, Mural, Invision).
• Experience working in Scrum Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in rapid wireframe prototyping.
• Collaborative approach to UI design in an agile environment.
