About the position

As a Senior Digital Product Manager within the Digital Workplace Product Group at American Express, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences that enhance the colleague experience across the organization. This position is part of the Chief Technology Officer Organization, which is dedicated to raising the bar for technical excellence and innovation. Your primary focus will be on executing product strategy and managing high-impact initiatives in the Meetings and Collaboration space. You will work closely with a team of product managers and engineers to develop product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and drive transformation initiatives that align with business priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing product performance, gathering customer feedback, and identifying market opportunities to define a strategic vision for your products. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to build a shared vision around the product roadmap and priorities, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with the overall goals of the organization. Your ability to lead PI Planning sessions across globally dispersed product teams will be crucial in driving successful execution of product initiatives. You will also champion product management standards and best practices, ensuring that your team adheres to the highest levels of quality and efficiency in product development. This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will need to effectively convey product requirements and influence decisions based on input from business partners. Your creative problem-solving abilities will be essential in navigating challenges and delivering exceptional digital experiences that set American Express apart in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and drive execution of high-impact initiatives across the Meetings/Collaboration space
  • Partner with key stakeholders to build shared vision around the roadmap, priorities and new opportunities
  • Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market opportunities to define a strategic vision
  • Review requirements and input from business partners to inform and influence product decisions
  • Collaborate with key Engineering leaders and other partner teams to execute critical initiatives, define clear goals, and set success criteria
  • Champion Product Management Standards and Best Practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Ability to lead PI Planning sessions across global product teams
  • Ability to translate business requirements to product deliverables
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Strong verbal & written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve.
