About the position

The Senior Digital Product Manager for Global Loyalty & Benefits at American Express is responsible for leading transformation activities and building capabilities within the Offers domain. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define business needs, create and manage product roadmaps, and ensure effective communication across teams. The position requires a strong understanding of marketing and partner management, as well as experience in agile methodologies and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation activities and build capabilities with peer product managers across the Offers domain.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and business partners to define business needs and frame strategy.
  • Create and own the product roadmap, executing and delivering on priorities.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead a Product Owner and manage a product backlog of features and capabilities.
  • Participate in agile practices and ceremonies to support the agile transformation of the delivery team.
  • Build a robust understanding of Amex Offers and the competitive landscape.
  • Communicate and build consensus across multiple teams to create solutions to business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a product owner/manager.
  • Experience in communicating and influencing at leadership levels.
  • Experience in building large-scale, high-performance backend solutions preferred.
  • Strong team skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proficient knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem structuring and solving skills with business acumen.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
  • Knowledge of Change Management practices is desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
