About the position

The Digital Product Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple strategic initiatives within the digital product space. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including business segment product leaders and UX leads, to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and ensure that features are properly defined and approved for execution. The position requires a strong focus on data analytics to identify business challenges and opportunities, as well as managing a team of Digital Product Managers and Analysts to drive successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement using data analytics and customer feedback.
  • Understand complex processes and systems in-depth for responsible transactions/experiences.
  • Conduct industry benchmarking and experience comparison with other banks and fintech capabilities.
  • Define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for initiatives.
  • Build a roadmap for initiatives to deliver on business outcomes.
  • Define EPICs, features, and MVPs to achieve defined OKRs.
  • Lead in feature definition and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage technology book of work and drive prioritization discussions.
  • Ensure alignment with budget and manage digital work related to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop hypotheses about root causes and enhancement roadmaps.
  • Lead discussions with Solution Architects and UX leads to understand trade-offs impacting customer experience.
  • Work with Legal, Risk, and Compliance for feature approval.
  • Drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Work with agile teams to iterate and prioritize business value.
  • Improve speed to market for high-value features.
  • Partner with external vendors when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams for flawless rollout of initiatives.
  • Measure performance against expectations and modify strategies as needed.
  • May manage a team of Digital Product Managers and/or Analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of Online/Mobile Digital Experience or Digital project delivery experience.
  • Experience leading Agile Delivery teams.
  • Experience with Financial Services, Banking, Products, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading teams (5-10 members), user testing, and data analysis to improve customer experiences.
  • Digital product management or delivery experience in wealth management platforms, advisor-facing experiences, portfolio management technology, and private banking solutions.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and driving digital strategy for high net worth clients.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with the Software Delivery Lifecycle.
  • Experience managing digital product managers.
  • Understanding and experience with Fintech solutions including payments, deposit originations, lending originations, servicing.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Experience with desktop and mobile web, mobile apps, and alerts.
  • User-centered design and usability expertise.
  • Self-starter who develops plans and is committed to hitting delivery dates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
