About the position

The Senior Digital Signage Analyst (UX/CX) at UCLA is a senior technician responsible for implementing the university's digital signage strategy with a focus on enhancing user and customer experiences. This role involves developing and managing a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with organizational goals and audience needs, streamlining content workflows, and ensuring compliance with branding and legal requirements. The analyst will work collaboratively with other technicians to install, maintain, and resolve issues related to digital signage, while also leveraging insights to innovate and improve operations across the university.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive digital content strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Streamline content workflows to deliver seamless content experiences.
  • Ensure compliance of all messaging with university branding and legal requirements.
  • Lead efforts to install and maintain digital signage systems.
  • Utilize UCLA's ticketing system to assess and address customer concerns efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in digital signage operations.
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to enhance IT and service delivery across the university.

Requirements

  • Experience in information technology, management, customer service, higher education, or a related field.
  • Experience in AV/IT, engineering, systems administration, computer science, or a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of internet-based media distribution solutions and interactive display systems.
  • Proficiency in digital signage software and content management systems.
  • Ability to assess institutional needs for digital signage technology and design appropriate services.
  • Strong knowledge of computer, media, and networking technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with team members and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and integrity in decision-making.

Nice-to-haves
