About the position

As the Sr Director of the Innovation team at SitusAMC, you will lead the development of cutting-edge technologies that provide a competitive edge in the real estate industry. This role involves collaboration with product and technology leaders to address complex business challenges, overseeing the design and implementation of technology architecture, and establishing software development standards. You will also mentor teams and ensure best practices in technology solutions, particularly in AI and machine learning applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams in proof of concept and architectural design to support the Technology Roadmap and new technology platforms (AI/ML).
• Provide insights into new technology trends and ensure development platforms are strategically architected.
• Operationalize AI software models to solve real-world business problems in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams.
• Design, implement, and validate machine learning algorithms and optimize their performance for real-world applications.
• Stay updated with developments in generative AI and identify opportunities for application at SitusAMC.
• Provide technical leadership on best practices for software platform design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Lead software architectural review meetings to ensure alignment with design standards.
• Oversee the development of Technology Roadmaps and Platform designs.
• Collaborate with client managers, business analysts, and leadership to optimize technical solutions.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science ML/AI or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Director role.
• Experience with current technologies and products in the industry.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and unsupervised learning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in programming languages and technologies: Gen AI/Machine Learning, LLM, NLP, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with architectural design patterns and software development methodologies.
