About the position

As the Senior Director of Brand Creative Digital Design Global at NIKE, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's narrative and visual identity across various digital platforms. This position is based in Beaverton, Oregon, and is integral to the Global Brand Creative team. You will be responsible for crafting and connecting intuitive and premium digitally focused creative that elevates Nike's storytelling centered on athletes, products, and services. Your work will not only align with larger brand themes but also include independent ideas that meet specific business and brand goals. In this role, you will lead a team of designers and collaborate closely with other creative teams, writers, strategists, and producers, both internally and externally. You will be expected to present your ideas to creative leadership and marketing partners, welcoming constructive feedback and direction. Your leadership will guide your team through the creative process, fostering a healthy and connected team culture while valuing communication, collaboration, and diverse perspectives. You will also be motivated to produce work on a large scale while being open to pilot and test-and-learn approaches. Your experience and passion for innovative creative thinking will be crucial as you drive platform-right storytelling and innovation, ensuring that Nike's brand distinction and business impact are achieved. You will be expected to stay updated on digital trends, social platforms, and technology, bringing a sense of humor and positive spirit to the team. Responsibilities

  • Craft and connect intuitive and premium digitally focused creative.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of agency, in-house, or start-up digital creative experience and storytelling.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge and curiosity towards digital trends, social platforms, innovation, and technology.
  • Passion for creative ideas, world-class execution, and seamless digital experiences.
  • Commitment to talent growth and development.
  • Ability to collaborate with both internal and external creative teams.
  • Outstanding visual background in typography, composition, motion, branding, and user-centered design principles.
  • Deep understanding of Figma, Sketch, Keynote, and Adobe CC.
  • Knowledge in After Effects, Premiere, and other motion editing software is a plus.
