About the position

As the Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brand and its recognition across the globe. This position is not just about marketing; it’s about leading a diverse team of innovators and thinkers who are committed to making a significant impact in various industries. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining Honeywell's brand assets, ensuring that our brand promise resonates with customers, shareholders, and new business opportunities. Your leadership will be crucial in executing a multi-phased plan that expands our brand presence and enhances customer experience through effective branding strategies. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and initiatives, ensuring that our brand is consistently represented across all customer-facing marketing and communication channels. You will manage and govern our Brand Guidelines, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with our brand positioning. Additionally, you will oversee a global team, managing budgets and providing matrix leadership to drive operational excellence. Your ability to coach and train Honeywell employees about our brand will be essential in fostering a culture of brand advocacy within the organization. You will also partner with Analytics to gain insights into customer behavior and brand affinity, utilizing tools to measure, analyze, and optimize our marketing efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in brand marketing and a passion for driving brand improvement in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team that oversees Honeywell's brand, creative, visuals, events, and branding in customer experience centers.
  • Create and execute a multi-phased plan to expand our brand among customers, shareholders, and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and initiatives.
  • Develop a strategy to incorporate our brand promise and pillars across all customer-facing marketing and communication channels.
  • Manage and govern our Brand Guidelines across the company.
  • Directly manage and develop a global team and budgets; provide matrix leadership and management.
  • Direct agencies and contractors related to brand activities.
  • Drive operational excellence by constantly improving scale, optimization, and productivity.
  • Coach and train Honeywell employees about the brand.
  • Partner with Analytics to deepen understanding of our customer and factors that build trust and brand affinity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of working in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate or agency environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing and strategy, advertising, and/or marketing planning along with proven demand-generation and campaign execution.
  • Experience and familiarity with key marketing platforms and tools, including Adobe, Workfront, Salesforce, and Marketo.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
