About the position

As a Senior Director, Business Systems Owner at Spectrum Enterprise, you will be responsible for maximizing the impact and value of the National Enterprise Order System (NEOS). This role focuses on implementing and managing a consistent methodology for the software development lifecycle, ensuring that all user groups have a productive and continuously improving experience with the platform. You will partner with various teams to enhance operations and improve client experience during service delivery and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage a consistent methodology for the software development lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical partners, ensuring clear communication across teams.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including standards and documentation.
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners to translate business needs into requirements and documentation.
  • Develop a strategic vision and product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate change requests and groom the system/product backlog.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts on the development or enhancement of functionality.
  • Facilitate communication between business partners and development/test teams to resolve conflicts and clarify misunderstandings.
  • Validate that finished technical solutions meet defined business needs in partnership with business partners and SMEs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization to support successful delivery.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial/B2B operations experience.
  • 7+ years of leadership and people management experience.
  • 5+ years of telecom implementation and operations experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with systems/product development, ownership, or management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with iterative software development principles and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with software product management and demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Expert in analyzing and interpreting data and synthesizing recommendations.
  • General business and technical acumen with effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated documentation skills and keen attention to detail.
