Responsibilities

  • Set a vision and develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One.
  • Design and implement processes and frameworks for strategic planning, including ownership of goals and mitigation plans.
  • Run quarterly planning sessions and post-mortems as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to add value and lead high-profile projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Tech, Brand, Operations, and Finance to improve quality and profitability.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, while coaching and mentoring existing associates.
  • Utilize analytics for decision-making and problem-solving, ensuring a strong quantitative orientation in business operations.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, driving agreement through strategic influencing skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategy development
  • At least 5 years of experience managing senior stakeholders across business functions
  • At least 5 years of people management experience

  • 7+ years of experience working with technology leaders
