About the position

KPMG is seeking a Senior Director, Chief Operations Leader to support the Advisory organization within the KPMG Delivery Network. This role involves overseeing the operations of the KDN Advisory OpCo and associated Advisory Global Delivery Centers (GDCs), ensuring alignment with global strategies, and managing stakeholder relationships. The position is pivotal in executing business objectives, managing budgets, and facilitating strategic priorities for the Advisory organization.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day activity of all build and operations of the KDN Advisory OpCo and associated Advisory GDCs.
  • Execute the KDN for Advisory Strategy and lead the KDN Advisory OpCo Operating Committee and Executive Committee.
  • Proactively work with KDN Advisory Regional Operations Leaders and Sponsors to maintain alignment of key KDN Advisory activities.
  • Oversee the design and launch of KDN Advisory operationalization activities, including scoping, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Maintain alignment with key global stakeholder groups and execute on service delivery priorities.
  • Create connectivity between teams and support the development of the future state of the Advisory organization.
  • Manage the portfolio budget of 16 million and lead the annual investment process with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate development of yearly strategic priorities and track KPI return on investments.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in managing global teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Deep understanding of KPMG's strategic priorities and ability to execute and grow a business like KDN Advisory.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; preferred MBA or recognized certification(s) in a relevant business function.
  • Dense track record of technology teams; cross-technology experience may be an asset.
  • Solid experience in a Professional Services firm implementing solutions that drive organizational or functional transformation.
  • Sound understanding and experience with organizational and functional transformation programs at the strategic level.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills including executive management exposure/experience.
  • Experienced in operating and excelling in a virtual environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience working with large scale, mixed-use projects is desirable.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships both in-person and through virtual methods.
