Success in this position hinges on the individual's ability to create, direct, and measure the outcomes of curated content, as well as their capacity to build relationships while educating and training collaborators and stakeholders. The essential duties include overseeing all content creation and management for Keck Medicine of USC across all media and digital marketing platforms. The Senior Director will develop, direct, and execute a content strategy that supports departmental and organizational goals, including an annual plan with specific goals and timelines for select services. This involves curating and delivering content across various formats, ensuring that all content is on-brand, consistent in style, design, quality, and tone, and optimized for search and user experience. The role also entails creating a system to monitor the effectiveness of the content program through analytics, leading the team in developing concepts for message delivery, managing budgets, and fostering cross-functional relationships to ensure the content team is engaged and moving initiatives forward successfully.
