About the position

The Senior Director, Digital and Creative Strategy is responsible for leading the Digital Marketing team and developing the content and creative strategy across digital platforms to align with the company's marketing and business objectives. This role focuses on driving digital sales and requires a strategic creative leader with experience in digital content, UI/UX, and a proven track record in developing effective online campaigns. The position is primarily on-site in Stamford, with one day of hybrid work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the digital marketing team, providing guidance and direction based on business objectives.
  • Manage creative resources to ensure designs and campaigns are accurate and appropriate for the customer journey.
  • Drive online sales through the optimization and development of digital campaigns, websites, and eCommerce buyflows.
  • Demonstrate creative thought leadership by staying ahead of digital trends and providing proactive recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with digital partners and cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies and drive sales.
  • Ensure consistent application of the company's brand identity across all digital marketing tactics and platforms.
  • Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience.
  • 10+ years of experience partnering with creative ad agencies to develop effective creative campaigns.
  • 8+ years of experience in television commercial creative development and production.
  • 8 years of marketing project management experience.
  • Extensive experience in developing direct marketing creative, preferably for a subscription-based business.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or Film Production.
  • Master's degree in a related area of study preferred.
  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • 8+ years of group management experience.
  • Experience developing digital content, UI, UX, and customer journey flows.
  • Experience developing acquisition and upsell creative.
